The International Institute for Peace through Tourism (IIPT) presented the ’’Celebrating Her’’ awards for the seventh time at ITB. Based on the jury’s decision, the award winners are:
Suma Venkatesh – Executive VP – Real Estate & Development and Asset Management, The Indian Hotels Co. Ltd – for Inclusion and Diversity
Marija Labović, director of the National Tourism Organization of Serbia – for Tourism policy and Leadership and
Adrianna Kruger – Founder of Tzaneen Country Lodge, Limpopo Province, South Africa – for Sustainable development
Special awards were given to:
Julia Simpson, President, World Council for Tourism and Travel (WTTC), as a “Superwoman of tourism” and
Rika Jean-Francois, Commissioner for Corporate Social Responsibility ITB Berlin, as a ’’Torchbearer of inclusiveness and diversity in tourism’’.
IIPT Serbia congratulates all award winners and expresses its satisfaction that for the first time a representative from Serbia was among the award winners.
